Welcome to Nursing Management and Professional Concepts online! This letter confirms your registration for the spring 2008 semester.

What materials will I need?

Each registered participant will need a Nursing Today: Transition and Trends bundled with access code, 5th edition ISBN 9781416033363 . They are available for you at the Nicolet Bookstore in the Learning Resource Center or online at: http://www.nicoletbookstore.com/

How do I access my online course?

Nursing Management and Professional Concepts is being delivered using the Blackboard online platform. You will be able to login to your online course beginning on January 14, 2008. Terri Johnson RN will not be available until the first day of the spring semester, January 22, 2008 .

To Login:

Go to: http://natcbb72.nicoletcollege.edu
After you access the Blackboard sign-on screen, click on the Login link.
Enter your Username (your 9 digit student ID number which is located on your admissions slip or your student ID card) and your password (Also your student ID number) and select "login".
Please change your password after you have logged in by navigating to "Tools", "Personal Information", "Change Password" on the left side of your screen. Make sure to remember your changed password.
You will see the course(s) you are enrolled in on the right side of your screen.
Select the course link of the course you would like to enter. On the next page you will see the course title and links to the different content areas of your course.

What should I do first?

When you access the course, always check for announcements from your instructor or the Blackboard Administrator then select the Syllabus button on the left side of your screen. Open and read the Syllabus information provided . You may want to print these documents and save them for future reference.

Next, select the Course Documents button on the left side of your screen. Look through all activities in this area to become familiar with the online course environment.

If you are a first time Blackboard user, you might want to attend one of the following Blackboard orientation sessions:
