Welcome to Foodservice Supervision hybrid

with specific dates online! This letter confirms your registration for the
Spring 2008 semester. Hopefully this letter will

Q. What materials will I need?
A. We will use Your Textbook. This is available at the Nicolet Bookstore in the Learning Resource Center or online at http://www.nicoletbookstore.com/ .
Q. How do I access my online course?
A. Foodservice Supervvision is being delivered in class and also using the Blackboard online platform. You will be able to login to your online course beginning on January 15th, 2008 to allow you time to become comfortable with the course design. Actual instruction will not begin until the first day of the semester which is January 22, 2008 for this class.

Q. What if I have problems with the technology?
For first-time Blackboard users, we have scheduled several opportunities for more formal Blackboard training. Please feel free to attend one of the following sessions. No reservations are necessary.
Q. What should I do first?
A. When you access the course, check for announcements from the Blackboard Administrator or me and then select the Syllabus button on the left side of your screen. Open and read the Syllabus provided . I encourage you to print this document and save it for future reference. It will guide you through the activities and assignments of the semester.
Next, select the Course Documents button on the left side of your screen. Select the appropriate folder and complete the activities to meet your classmates and to become familiar with the online course environment.
