We as a nation and world should consider renewable energy to meet our needs. These methods of energy creation and the variety of renewable energy resources available now and in the near future have an impact from the local, regional, national and international perspective.

Nicolet College partnered with USDA/FS Forestry Sciences Lab in a five year
demonstration project. Hybrid poplars, which are used for biomass, pulp, and to detoxify soil of landfills and brownfields were planted at Nicolet.
