Appreciation of Wines and Beers

Harvesting for Winemakers NEW

If you are already a winemaker, or are thinking of becoming one, this class may be very helpful to you. Participants will learn to search through gardens and nature to collect and harvest flowers, fruits and vegetables to use for winemaking. You’ll receive a timeline of the harvesting season that will act as a guide. Participants will also come away with ideas for making wines that are often overlooked. Tasting and sampling will be part of this presentation. You must be at least 21 years of age to register for this class. 42-303-41076

The days are getting warmer and we are all looking forward to participating in summer activities without getting weighed down. What is more refreshing than a bowl of summer soup? In this class we will be making a melon soup that is healthy and satisfying, a gazpacho soup with layers of flavor, and some sides to go with them.
