The career of A Prairie Home Companion's Prudence Johnson has taken her from honky-tonks to Carnegie Hall, and from the theater stage to the silver screen. With a renewed appreciation for the Great American Songbook, she found an ideal collaborator in pianist Dan Chouinard. Together they will perform the music of Carmichael, Gershwin, and other greats, taking side trips to the cafe music of France and Italy.

We continue our local musician series with Rhinelander's Timberdoodle Trio. Their varied repertoire includes chamber music, movie scores, new age music with celtic roots, and a rousing rendition of the "Chicken Dance." You’ll delight in this local talent and their entertaining performance featuring Katy Dyreby on cello, Lisa Krouze on flute and tin whistle, and Gina Koeppl on piano.
