Wisconsin's Technical Colleges' Video Competition is back!
The competition is just for students and is free to enter. Students get to compete for cash prizes of $2,000, $1,500 and $1,000.
Simply visit www.wearefuturemakers.com and check out the easy instructions for the contest. Then make a short video (three minutes or less) about how you and Nicolet College are making your future happen (we want to know about your technical college experiences and how Nicolet impacts your future) and upload it to the Web. Complete a short registration form, and that’s it.
One semifinalist from each of the Wisconsin Technical College System colleges may advance to the state for the three grand prizes. Last year, Nicolet student Hailey Lundborg won the state competition. See Hailey's winning entry.
Videos will be judged on creativity, originality of presentation, effectiveness of communicating your Futuremaker experiences and weighted online votes, so you’ll want to tell your friends and family to vote. The deadline to enter your completed video is 11:59 p.m. February 29, 2012.
