Since it is common for students to face difficult and perplexing decisions during their years of post-secondary education, Nicolet encourages its students to seek the help of Student Counseling Services. Students can work with a counselor in a confidential relationship exploring such topics as appropriate career choice, academic study problems, and personal concerns that may be interfering with learning. The emphasis in counseling is on helping students explore and develop their decision-making and problem-solving skills. This involves careful consideration of available options and choices.

Types of Student Counseling Services

Counseling services also include workshops and individual sessions in such areas as career information, study skills, alcohol/drug awareness and prevention, test anxiety, and college survival strategies for returning adults. Students are encouraged to seek counseling early, before a problem threatens remaining in school. Phone 715-365-4477 for further information.
