The Accuplacer is administered through the Testing Center. You can begin the test anytime Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and begin anytime Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
No appointments are necessary for testing; however, you must complete the admissions/application process before you may take the Accuplacer.
The Accuplacer test is an achievement test used by Nicolet College to assess academic readiness. It is important to note that we do not use this test to screen people out of college programs, but rather to help them choose courses that will help ensure their college success. Most students starting college require preparatory course work in one or more areas, especially those who have not been in school for a long period of time. Therefore, if after testing you find that brush-up is necessary for you, look upon it as a natural step in the educational process. For many people, preparatory course work can be done in conjunction with program classes, so there is not a wait to start school.
